“All the staff were very helpful. We arranged a taxi to collect us from the airport through them, and they even arranged a taxi to our next hotel which was 4 hours drive away. They also exchanged our GBP for INR at a decent rate at the bank for us. The room was lovely with lots of open space (and because we went in the off season and the hotel was quiet they upgraded our room for free). The bathroom was especially nice with a huge shower. As it was quiet the buffet breakfast wasn't on, so we had table service instead!”

“The Killians opens right onto the end of the 'touristy' strip of beach that you MUST walk along when in Kochi, it is also right across the ferry. The location is just perfect. Beautiful humongous room, very well appointed. We did not try the pool, but it was very tempting. The restaurant is great for grilled fish, super fresh catch from across the street and superbly prepared. The patio tables are frequented by the locals, good ambiance. The staff is super-nice, going the extra-extra mile on the little things that make all the difference. Classy place without any obsequiousity.”

The town itself was on the noisy side, but the hotel was quiet which was very important to us. The fact the high quality windows sealed tightly contributed to the room's quietness. Both AC and a ceiling fan were available providing a very comfort able stay. The hotel is central but is it set back a little from the street which also made for a big difference. Killians was a haven in a very lively city. I would definitely stay there again.”
