What guests loved the most

“The staff was very friendly and helpful when finding local restaurants. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. It is in the center of Lewes, so you can leave the car parked and walk around the whole town.”

“The people at the front desk were efficient, polite, and helpful. The room was quiet and clean; breakfast was terrific. The location was within walking distance of stores and good restaurants. Having parking available was extremely helpful.”

“The staff was very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. It is a quiet setting. You can walk along the trail at the canal which the inn overlooks. Our room had a balcony looking onto the canal. It was beautiful. We had leftovers from dinner and did not have a microwave in our room. The receptionist was nice enough to take us to the kitchen and provide us with a plate and silverware to eat. We can't thank them enough!”

“This is a taste of Nantucket in a quiet, but perfect location surrounded by a quaint, very small small beach town with .nice eating and shopping establishments within steps from your room. The hotel has a variety of suite and room options, depending on what configuration is most preferred. There is a Rail Trail to Rehoboth Beach, and other wonderful bike riding opportunities including interesting maritime and WW II history at Henlopen State Park.”

“Everything, we felt very relaxed, and everything we wanted was within five blocks! Perfect little town, lots of neat shops, beautiful to look at.....not commercialized at all. The shop keepers were eager to tell us the best places to go for everything.”

“We had a magical time! My girlfriend and I booked the room for a romantic weekend getaway and it was wonderful. The building is beautiful, I love the wood shingles. The lobby, hallways and breakfast rooms have an elegance and charm that make you never want to leave. Our room was big and beautiful. We had a room with a balcony that overlooked the canal. We sat out and watched the boats going up the canal. The breakfast was great for the most part. The coffee was good and I especially liked the cheese, date and nut platter. The staff was very friendly and we got a kick out of talking with Gena ("With a 'G' and one 'n')!”
