“Two things make this a 'stand-out' pub/hotel... Firstly, the warmth and welcome from all staff, in reception, in the restaurant, in the bar area, the cleaning and catering staff, and the chefs. Very polite and accommodating. Secondly, the quality of the food - really excellent. I had my dog with me, and had a room close to the exit - useful in the early morning - and the management went out of their way to accommodate me (and dog) in the bar area for dinner and for breakfast.”
“Staff were lovely . Had half board and the food was great . The breakfast is the best we have had any where. Lovely 4 poster bed. Clean comfortable room . Visited Bognor, Worthing, Arundal and Chicester. Bus right outside. A perfect place to spend 3 or 4 nights.”

“The beds had wonderful crisply ironed white linen and the room and bathroom seemed to be clean. Bathroom was a good size. Bar was fantastic for a beer lover! Won the CAMRA pub of the year for much of the last decade. Guest craft beers on hand pump were great and the cellar management obviously excellent.”
