“Such a nice experience! Owners were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was made by them and it was amazing. We had such a great time. You will not find another hotel like this one!”
“Owners Richard and Chris provided us with every comfort available and certainly made a night away seem like a very special occasion. The rich history and character of the hotel are evident and the proprietors certainly took pride in their efforts. The rooms are meticulously clean and the beds were very comfortable. The antique decor took some time getting used to but all of the amenities were well maintained. My girlfriend and I really appreciated the attention that Richard and Chris provided us and we will certainly look to them for future reservations.”
“My favorite part of Hotel Temecula is a toss up between being greeted by the fabulous owners who are passionate about the history of the hotel, touring all the buildings on-site, feeding the backyard chickens, drinking wine on the front porch, sitting by the fire pit in the backyard and making s'mores. Oh there's more too...I loved the ridiculously soft and comfortable beds (hotel is old but linens are new so don't worry) the bathrobes, and wonderful breakfast spread! Did I mention chickens?! Gathering fresh eggs in the morning was a special treat and fun way to wrap up an awesome weekend!”
“We felt at home with the owners who were personable, hospitable, and great historians. This property is filled with antiques, and personal items from the former owners that were very telling of their lives as they lived in those cowboy and Indian days in Temecula old town. This property is a great place for families to reunite, groups of couples to spend time together, or for special events. The potentials are endless. The grounds in the backyard and side of property are as they were "back in the cowboy days" and like visiting a museum of sorts.”
“This hotel is a gem; the owners are so nice and accommodating. This is not your typical hotel, it is a historic landmark of the 1900. The hotel is an old world charm, that takes you back in time, they even have a camp fire at night.”
“My husband and I loved our stay at The Temecula Hotel! We felt as if we went into a time capsule and woke up in an a western fairytale. The owners made us feel so welcome and gave us so much history. If you have a love for antiques, art and people then you must experience this "living museum".”
“This hotel was EXTRA special. From first arrival, the owners/staff treated you like family. Lots of history at the hotel, and walking distance from great food and other historic points in the city.”
“I have traveled the United States and many foreign countries to hotels and BnB's with all sorts of unique and luxurious amenities, but none of them compare to the fun and original experience of staying the Hotel Temecula! What a delight! I could go on for pages, but be assured that if you think you want to know what it would be like to go back in time a 100 years, you must experience this place! A real blast and the owners are incredible hosts.”
“Every part of our visit to this lovely historical hotel was fascinating! Our hosts treated us as if we were family, friends and royalty! They invited us to talk with them about the history of their amazing hotel and at the same time said if we'd rather be alone to feel free! We chose to be with them! We had a blast!”
“Hotel temecula was such a unique experience for a weekend getaway for me and my 1yo coming from San Diego and my brother coming from la. Owners provided a personalized experience that was both luxurious and antique at the same time. Like staying in a 5-star museum. Location for strolling around old town temecula was primo. Complementary wine upon arrival, free reign of entire grounds and house, individual air conditioning in each room, fire pit with other guests after returning from old town stroll, and all the interesting relics from old times were just a few of the highlights. Best night of sleep I've a had in a while-bed really was like sleeping on a cloud.”
