“The bed was amazing! The hotel is quite a museum piece as well so ask to have a look around. Renovated rooms are really lovely and decorated beautifully in keeping with the times when the hotel was in its prime. Surprise breakfast of cereal was very welcome. Fabulous and friendly staff!”
“The Grand has a rich history. The Queen stayed there in 1954, and the royal chairs are still at the hotel. Linda was a very warm and gracious host. The bed was excellent, the room decor elegant, and access to the balcony a real treat.”
“The host was exceptionally nice. I left a couple of items in the bathroom after we left and she kindy posted them on to me. The hotel is over 100yrs old and has a lot of character, like a museum.”
