“Single room was clean and tidy, but there was a continuous noise in the roofspace all night. The single rooms are quite small and walls are just plasterboard so you can hear people moving around and the TV in adjacent rooms, even with earplugs in. I asked for a change of room, but the lady on duty said that all the rooms were full, but I didn't see much evidence of that at dinnertime or at breakfast, although I left at 0840, so I think that she might not have wanted the bother. The position was convenient for what I needed to do in Maryport, but I won't be there again and will likely try a recognised chain. At £60 I think it was reasonable value, but I didn't get much sleep and that's one thing you really want. I won't be recommending it.”
