Sitting watching the ocean and the sea turtles playing in the surf was lovely - while the vast flocks of starlings are mesmerising as the sun sets.”

“I could not have asked for better service at Frangipani Tree. We booked a room last minute after cutting short a previous hotel stay that was vastly disappointing. The manager & staff prepped the room on the spot and even upgraded us, which he really didn't have to do. The rooms are perfect, and the bathroom is even dreamier! We ordered the Sri Lankan breakfast (call ahead to reserve) and that was every bit as amazing. We truly appreciated the extra effort the staff put in to make us feel welcome, and we only wish we would have stayed longer.”

“Gorgeous room and pool area. Excellent service. Food in restaurant is also excellent. Also helped us with booking dinner in Galle (fort printers - highly recommend). Galle about 25 minute tuk tuk ride away, went in for dinner and for morning/lunch another day.”
