“our room was very nice,and very clean. Only down side was the hanging baskets outside the room window were dying off, and we couldn't have the window open as the smell from them was terrible. the breakfast was very nice (when we got ours). we waited about 35 minutes for it to arrive. The hotel was very busy as there had been a wedding on the day we were there. Overall it was very nice, and we will stay again when in Newtown.”

“We had what looked like a recently revamped room. Plenty of choice for breakfast & we enjoyed the full Welsh breakfast! The upstairs restaurant had good views over the river. We had a good evening meal in the bar area from the set menu which was excellent value for money & our drinks didn't seem to be expensive. All of the mostly young staff were very friendly, polite & attentive. Hairdryer, fan & kettle in room with plenty of biscuits, coffee & tea bags. No bath in room but had spacious shower which was better (although the water took a while to warm up).”
