“An inn with rooms rather than a true hotel but no worse for that. A warm welcome led us to a large comfortable bedroom with a well equipped bathroom with a superb shower. Good local ale in a busy bar and a broad menu in a cosy modern dining area settled us for the evening. My wife's steak from a local named butcher was precisely cooked to her order and was excellent. Breakfast included Scottish classics and was well served.”
