“Warm welcome. Old building, so room was down many corridors and fire doors. Comfy bed. Good bathroom. Lighting was inadequate. Room was spacious but lacking in atmosphere. Breakfast in attached cafe/restaurant. Extensive menu and trying hard with some innovations on usual choices. Popped our noses into attached pub which looked cosy and inviting though we didn't have a drink there. Easy access to Thames Path.”
“Quirky hotel due to its age. Room floors were slopping which meant you literally did walk up and down the room! It had good facilities with a bar and restaurant as part of the hotel. Breakfast was very good. Was there for a birthday party which was being held at the hotel so that was ideal. Also took the opportunity to do a run to Bicester Village which isn't too far away.”
