“Excellent welcome from the owner & staff. Comfy room with en suite - fab shower! We took our dog & he was also made very welcome. Breakfasts were lovely and we also ate in the Bistro at night - food was very nice & good value. the hotel is a bit dated, but full of character”

“The owners were perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent. The hotel has lots of old character. Some people may think it needs modernising but we loved its unique charm.”
“Beautiful food, delicious evening meal and breakfast, outwith the usual”
“owners were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was lovely and good sized portions. We chose to have evening meals in the hotel as the menu was varied and very well cooked. Our little dog was welcomed and we really enjoyed our stay at the County Hotel in Banff.”
“This was a lovely well maintained older property. I doubt very much if you will find kinder more accommodating hosts anywhere. They went out of their way to make our stay perfect and it was. Our room was very clean the bathroom spotless. The dinner was excellent, as was breakfast. They made our whole weekend as we had several dogs with us and they gave us free reign of the garden. I can't wait to go back. Thank you so much Eric & Vida”
“The food was very good. Had breakfast and evening meal. All staff very friendley. A nice old style hotel. Will stay again. :-)”
“Very friendly staff and Eric makes the best scrambled eggs ever! Wish we'd tried the evening menu too. Will definitely try to go back to sample more of their food”
