“Absolutely beautiful location above a tidal river. Some hotel fittings are a tad tired but overall the place is lovingly cared for and very clean. Charming lounge with wood fire; lovely views everywhere. Dinner and breakfast at the hotel were fine. If the weather had been better I would have driven into Fowey for dinner, but it was cosy and pleasant to eat in. I loved staying here.”
“Great location and always love going in Cormorant hotel. After our first visit couple years ago,I find the hotel very tired. Need refreshing and updating the rooms. In our room the TV was very tiny (size of lap top screen) . The stuff is great and very friendly.”
“The staff were extremely efficient, the chef exceptionally good in both skill and presentation. There were lovely little touches, like homemade cookies left in the room each day, freshly baked bread served with dinner. The breakfast also was very good with lots of choice. The views from the rooms was quite exceptional. The rooms were also very quiet and peaceful. The whole experience felt like a 4 star hotel rather than its rating of 3. I will return for sure.”
