“We loved the location! It was a beautiful view, and being able to hear the birds sing was really relaxing. The place was peaceful and very quiet, which was a nice break from city life! Breakfast was also tasty, and the staff were really friendly and made us feel at home. The room was excellent, with a big comfy bed, and more than enough space to unwind in privacy.”

“Met at the premises by Viviene who was lovely handed over lots of infoabout the place and Russell itself, recommended where to eat which wedid on Friday night and was very pleased with our excellent food andvenue. Showed us to our room and what was available for our use. Told usshe was out Saturday but caught up with us that evening and then onSunday. Allowed us to help ourselves to the lemons. Our room was lovelythe view to die for and the beds, everything was lovely. We had oneperson cancel at the last minute due to personal reasons and Vivienetook this off our account which was very nice of her to do. Nice andquiet....beds, linen, tea, coffee, plunger, etc all good, noconcerns...happy. We will be back again....”
“The bed was so comfortable after a 11 hr trip. The shower was so great it had mean water pressure.. The owner was so great with phone contact to me. She went out of her way by allowing my workers to check in very late and to check out late as well. My workers found her to be a very lovely and so welcoming host. They said they would go back there any time.”

“The most friendly and helpful host, gave directions to local walks, and things to do as well as dropped us off and picked up from Russell. The Lodge was exceptional, stylish, clean and roomy. The breakfast was first rate, recommend the pancakes. We hope to be back for a longer stay next time.”
