“Stayed here last night whilst filming at the jail. The bar staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was large, clean and really comfortable with a great bathroom/shower. The waitress in the restaurant was super and the food amazing. I can clearly see why the restaurant is so highly rated. The food was super, top quality. The kitchen staff and owner were really friendly. I fully recommend this hotel and restaurant and will stay here again.”
“The breakfasts were presented beautifully although the toast could have been in a rack rather on a plate. The meals offered at the restuarant were excllent value on the steak night. For the ladies the owner had vast array of different gins for you to try in particular hot off the shelf their own delicious capon Tree House gin to be recommended (they gave me a sneak preview)”
