“I liked the cosy room. There was tea and coffee available plus a biscuit. I was expecting only a continental breakfast but was offered eggs in various forms. I had poached - delicious just runny enough yolks. Had I wanted there were also tasty sounding sandwiches to order.”

“Although small, the facilities were on s par with a much larger “business” hotel. The room , and particularly bathroom, were very well appointed. I have rarely enjoyed such comprehensive coffee-making options. The location was perfect for my requirements; in particular, there was a choice of good restaurants within easy walking distance. The breakfast was excellent. I was expecting just a continental breakfast, but there was a choice of eggs in addition. The food served was of a really good quality, albeit that the dining room was rather bijou. I have saved the best to last: the staff, who were friendly and most helpful. I would definitely stay at The Burlington again if I found myself in those parts.”
