“We have been made bookings at the Brickwall Hotel for a number of years. This year was a bed and breakfast booking only, so we are unable to comment of the restaurant - except to say the breakfast was its usual high standard, especially the (we assumed local), sausages. Our room was in the original part of the hotel , with an authentic sloping of the floor, as is often found in buildings of this age, that on entry to the room, gently guided you towards the bed which was very comfortable indeed.”

Tea-making facilities in the room. The bed was comfy, linen crisp and my room had a full-size bath. The fan in the bathroom switched off immediately.”
