“Very friendly reception staff, and the manager helped us in with our bags. Very cosy bar areas, lots of character. Sparkling water was provided free in the room, with nice toiletries in a spacious bathroom. We had a comfy mattress and pillows, with lovely decor. It was nice to have a small seating area with a standard lamp, two club chairs and coffee table so we could relax and read, also there was a desk, dressing table and plenty of clothes storage. A very good breakfast with cooked options as well as fruit, yogurt, cereals, pastries, home made bread and fruit juice. We would definitely recommend this hotel.”

“Wonderful location, delicious food and great selection of wine, gin, beer etc. Staff really friendly and helpful but discrete. A real gem in the Cotswolds!”

, United Kingdom

“This cosy hotel was centrally located for our tour of the Cotswolds and worked well because we arrived by car. The property is beautiful and the hotel has been restored well. The bar and restaurant are both very nice. The bar food was very tasty and breakfast was very large for the price. We loved the local art around the hotel as well. Would definitely recommend!”

“Excellent location, far enough away to be peaceful yet close enough for Stroud and surrounding area. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great food at reasonable prices. Really good breakfast. I would happily stay here again”

“The room Decor was stylish and perfect for the quirky room. Bed, duvet and pillows were fab! Breakfast selection was brilliant, and I really enjoyed the grilled kippers. Room service was spot on, and earlier in the day my sister and I enjoyed lunch by the open fire; bliss!”
