Obviously accomodation always depends on what you're looking for - this is a budget option so doesn't have lots of bells and whistles. If what you like is a comfy bed with nice bedding in a central location with a clean room and friendly welcome, it's perfect.”

“the look of the building outside and I was sceptical but inside everything was brand new ...the staff were great and very friendly the restaurant downstairs was excellent with a varied large menu...the bar downstairs is not an issue..it is closed at 11 and is a nice quiet place for a drink at the end of the evening...it definitely would stay again...sherry”

“Very friendly and helpful staff. Had booked room with a kitchenette, which did not have a stove. We immediately got a hot plate, pots and a pan and were completely self- sufficient which is a good idea in alert bay. Good value for money”
“This is an old hotel in a small village, from the outside and if you enter the attached pub you think yuck! When you talk to the bartender as you have to too get him to phone the lady looking after the rooms you think oh oh! Then when you get to know the staff and see the room (after the 21 stairs no elevator) you start to relax and enjoy the great deal you got on a very nice clean redone room. Think bed and breakfast in a family home without the breakfast or family!”
