“Pretty chilly in am and pm but very charming accommodations.”
“Our room was comfortable, the staff were helpful and pleasant.”
“It's an apartment hotel with a working kitchen. The hotel is quaint and the staff was very helpful.”
“Restaurant, across the street, was good. I liked the age of the hotel. It showed in the decor. I wanted to stay longer.”
“Close to downtown and theaters etc but far enough away that it was a more peaceful setting. Vintage decor, great breakfast, etc in sister hotel across the street.”
“I love the retro look of the rooms. The stove in the kitchen should be updated but everything else was fine. ”
“It was very close to the city center. I am glad I choose The Baroness for my stay. If I come back to Seattle I would stay there again. Ok”
“Super easy to get to Virgina Mason which is across the street. Parking is my only issue. Have to park 1.5blocks away and walk up a HUGE steap hill to the hotel..so if your in not good health..wouldnt reccomend. But other then the parking it was amazing.”
“great bed.full kitchen.separate bedroom. good wifi. laundry was was and dry for only $2.50. restaurant at inn at virginia madsen was top shelf as was its bar and happy hour”
“Accommodations are spacious; you do get an apartment: sitting area separate from the bedroom, a kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge. This hotel is across the street from Virginia Mason hospital, so it's good for families who have someone in the hospital. No restaurant physically in this hotel, so you are directed to the restaurant across the street at the Inn at Virginia Mason. Or you can walk around the block for other choices. I got a nice pizza to carry out from Italian Family Pizza (on the same block). The hotel is in a historic building, so it is old an shows its age is building is old; a historic building. Personnel are friendly; I had a nice chat with the front desk clerk at check in and at check out. It is possible to walk to/from the main downtown area. There is one block on hill, if you inclines give you trouble.”
