“Absolutely fantastic country pub / hotel / restaurant! Staff couldn't do enough for us and are a credit to the business, we had breakfast, lunch & dinner and all 3 were superb. The owner mention employing new chefs in the last few months and they really know what they're doing. Our room was spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfy I didn't want to leave it. Overall a brilliant place to eat drink & stay right in the heart of Lavenham. Would recommend to all ages. Well done John, Suky, James & the gang! Keep it up!”

“The hotel was in a great location in the market square. It was a quirky old pub with accommodation upstairs with a restaurant that served good food and a fantastic cooked and buffet breakfast. The bedroom had a big comfy bed and tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom was a bit basic but had a very powerful, hot shower and toiletries. The staff were very helpful and made us very welcome. All in all a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. Would stay again if visiting the area”
