“Even though the check-in was to start at 14:00, when we arrived at 12:00, we had no problems to check in. The person at the reception desk was kind and tried to help me, even giving me a map of the island. He also gave us a room which had a garden where the dog could stay. The air conditioning at the room was working very well.”
“Nikos, the owner, is the main reason our stay was so perfect! He makes sure each guest has everything they want, he is incredibly kind and polite. And he is always around - I don't know how he manages it, but he has so much energy and is always smiling! One truly feels welcome and like at home.He gave us great tips about what beaches to visit, because we didn't want to stay at the popular ones with many people, and those tips were the best!!!! The hotel is beautiful too - pool is huge and very clean, breakfast was good too and during the day you could eat or drink whatever you want, they really have everything! And all that for more than reasonable price, in fact very cheap.This location is the best for exploring the most beautiful beaches of Kefalonia in my opinion, although for that a car is very much needed.We'll definitely be back next year and we'll stay much longer, not changing this place anymore! :)”
“We had a really lovely holiday at Terra Mare. The owner Nikos is super friendly, and so helpful. When our daughters managed to lock their key in the room on the first day he sorted it all out no problem, and with a smile, even though it meant taking a pane of glass out to do it! The rooms are cleaned every day and the beds are super comfy. The pool is amazing, and we loved the brekkie - boiled eggs, fresh bread, greek yoghurt, honey, nutella, ham, cheese, cake, tomatoes. The food in the restaurant at the hotel is great too for lunch and evening meals, and very reasonably priced. The iced coffee is delicious and the gyros amazing! The hotel is in a lovely, peaceful location with views of the mountains. We had some lovely meals in Lixouri. We had such a great time, and really hope to go back.”
