“The hospitality fantastic and the property amazing with lakes and ancient castle on site. Wonderful place to visit and stay.”

“The house is historic and fascinating and amazing. Si many details to I look at. You've to stay 2 nights to get it. Then you want to come back.”

, Canada

“Temple House is in an enviable, peaceful and lovely location and within reach of some of Ireland's most wonderful countryside. We loved the friendly family run 'house party' feel, with excellent staff, and the public spaces, especially the grand hall and dining room which make this stay a little special and out of the ordinary. Row boats were available on the estate loch, which we would have used should we have stayed a day longer.”

, United Kingdom

“We slept so well at Temple House, the beds were amazing. Staff was lovely and breakfast just amazing.”

, Norway

“The guest experience is very personalized by the host's genuine hospitality. He loves the home of his family and is so welcoming. It is a memory to treasure. The house and gardens are lovely and there are many walking paths to explore as well as it is possible to boat on and swim in the lake though I did not get a chance. When it is cool a fire is built in the fireplace of the room where drinks are served. Waking to the sound of lambs grazing on the meadow by the lake is such a tranquil experience.”

“Loved that the integrity of the character of the house has been maintained. Roderick is a great host. Meeting other guests at pre dinner drinks and chatting with them over dinner was most enjoyable. Grounds are beautifully maintained without being too elaborate. House is true to its identity, all the trappings of a manor house but not too opulent or ostentatious. Very tasteful restoration.”

“The view of sheep grazing near the ruins and lake from my window. Original furniture and family portrait gallery. History of house is provided in each room. The host is warm hearted exceptionally well mannered and has a good sense of humor. It is a fine "to the manor born " experience. Authentic. The noble house has remained in the family for generations.”
