“Breakfast was fantastic, and the setting was beautiful. Lovely grounds around the castle made for some good walking and people watching. we enjoyed our time in the guest house with the private bathroom. We didn't realize when we booked that to have a private bathroom you would be in the guest house and not in the main castle. Not a big deal but it is nice to know.”

“Welcoming afternoon coffee/tea upon arrival with pastries, fruits, and sandwiches. The room had a comfy bed, pleasant views and interior and there was a sauna on our floor. The dinner was excellent - a fantastic taste experience and a pleasure for your eyes in a genial ambient! Extreme service minded and nice personnel.”

“Stunning place with exceptionally friendly staff! Had a brilliant stay. Gorgeous room, excellent breakfast buffet.2 mins walk to uni for conference, buses into town 5mins away, c10-15mins every ten mins (pay with card). Lakeside walks nearby, adjacent Brygghuset does simpler lunches and dinners. Shared bathroom as stated and works fine - just note there is really nothing in room apart from some bottles of water (no tea/coffee stuff, minibar or wash basin). Not in itself a problem, but perhaps worth knowing..”

“Närheten till campus är den främsta anledningen till min bokning. Slottet är mycket vackert och grindstugorna är mysiga även om det innebär att man måste gå upp till slottet för att äta frukost. Bra frukost i fin slottsmiljö.”
