“We stayed in this hotel just one night and we loved it. The room was large and clean and we woke up with the birds singing in the jungle.The owners are very helpful and smiling and helped us orginising a safari. The dinner was cooked at the moment and was delicious, like the breakfast.We absolutely suggest this hotel!”

“This is a great stay. Especially the Landlady cooks like god in france.., very good Sri Lankan Food in real Sri Lankan Style. The Landlord and his wife take care of all your needs and organise it, if you want, with low costs. From that location you can visit all sites in the cultural triangle by bus within one day. Its maximum one hour by bus. Choose it as a base for a longer stay. You really can`t get more for the price.”

“Such very sweet welcoming people into anything you want to wish. We imagined ourselves in a little paradise, we stayed for 3 wonderfull nights. We even got a gift when we left. These people with their sweet little son earn all the credits !! And the food was really absolutly fabulous!!”

“The kind hosts of Teakvilla Hotel were wonderful and accommodating. Despite a bit of a language barrier, they made every effort to make our stay better, plus they cook very filling and delicious Sri Lankan meals. The small cabins, located a bit off the noisy highway, provided some insulation from the honking and traffic. The backyard jungle provided an excellent place to see all sorts of animals from monkeys to iguanas roaming though.”

He accommodated us in every way possible from bringing us drinks/snacks/torches when the power went out, to preparing a wonderful breakfast and helping us organise a safari for a good price. Sunil makes amazing food, such as the vegetarian curries you must try his food.”

“The location is perfect as it is on the edge of town with easy walking distance to all services. The service from the manager was excellent he was very helpful in organising Tuk Tuks and cars when required.”
