“As in all of our previous stays, we love the Genetti! Love it's historic character, it's downtown location, the helpful, warm staff, and that breakfast is always included in the price of your room! We like having a king bed but when I reserved this room the king rooms must have been all reserved. When we checked in, the very nice gentleman was able to get us into a king room. It was a beautiful suite which we thoroughly enjoyed!”

“The breakfast was very good. They had some unique choices on the buffet. For instance, when we stayed, they had baked beans and grits, corned beef hash, fruits, oatmeal, pancakes, meats, eggs, juices, and more besides! My one pet peeve was that there wasn't any turkey meats on the menu - just pork. The maids were efficient, the staff was friendly, and it was an exciting and vibrant hotel. On Saturday night, there was rather noisy nightlife in the bar below, that we could hear on the 7th floor. Nevertheless, it was not obnoxiously loud that you couldn't sleep. I do want to mention that the pool was maintained well. The water was crystal clear, and the towels were warm and thick. The parking lot was gated.”
