“The rooms were quite large and very, very clean. The windows could be opened and the air conditioning was easy to control. The lighting was good. The room had a nice view of the street. The beds were comfortable with both western and Chinese style pillows and comforters. We slept many restful hours. Breakfast was inexpensive and contained a wide selection of dishes. The hotel was only one block from the Palace Park of Kang xi and Qianlong. Buses and taxis were plentiful and inexpensive. There was a large supermarket right across the street.”
