“The family were so lovely and made me feel very welcome. Just a 10 minute walk to the cave temple and buses to other areas were easy to reach. Dambulla town is 20-25 mins walk away. Food at the guesthouse was OK. The wife is so kind and went out of her way to accommodate me such as giving me an extension lead so I could plug in multiple devices and helped me change some money when I ran out of small notes. The room was a good size with private bathroom and I was happy to spend 2 nights here. The grounds of the guesthouse are also nice.”

“Owners are really nice and friendly- eventhough the area ran out of water, they provided and cleaned the bathroom inside the house so we could take a shower. They gave us information about Sigirya and further trip to Kandy. House is located just a 10min walk from the cave temple (Golden budha) and city centre is just 1,5km away (100LKR by tuktuk). Breakfast is basic, but you get plenty of toasts :) We recommend this place to stay when in Dambulla!”
