“The location of this hotel is fantastic - just a few steps away is the main business street of Stromness, providing super-easy access to quaint shops and restaurants. The hotel is older, but that's a large part of it's charm. The cobbled street in front of the hotel and the winding, narrow lanes that surround the hotel are enchanting, and very Harry-Potter-like. Major archaeological sites like Maeshowe and the Ring of Brodgar are just minutes away by car.”
“In Scotland for several weeks, but this was one of the best places I experienced. A great pub downstairs, very cool rooms (I had one facing the harbor) and lots of space in the room. Wanted to stay in Kirkwall at first, but Stromness was better because of the hotel.”
