“It was central to the shopping centre and also only a short walk down to Newtownards itself. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly..... especially the night porter. Room service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Due to the remains of the Hurricane, I couldn't fly back on my booked day, so a short phone call to the Strangford Arms and I was rebooked for a further 2 nights at the hotel in my original room. This room was very spacious and there was nothing you needed extra. It had loads of natural light due to the amount of windows and was warm. There was certainly an air of elegance and also ambiance due to the lovely lighting system. I will certainly be staying there again and recommend it highly. Lewinters restaurant and bar is part of the hotel and the food served was very tasty, hot and absolutely to my taste.”
