“The hotel is a short walk from the railway station, but away from the city centre. It is next to the Royal Mail sorting office. If I had enjoyed watching large trucks, I would have been very happy. The room was spacious, with adequate en suite. Very good pub across the road - Coach & Horses.”
“We had travelled to Norwich by train for a concert at the Waterfront. The hotel was located just a few hundred yards from the train station and football ground on the other side of the river from the main city centre. The hotel is not luxurious but is very clean, well maintained and nicely decorated. Rooms had en suite facilities, toiletries & tea, coffee and biscuits. TV if desired. Although our room was ground floor front, the street is not overly busy therefore noise was not an issue. the bed was comfy. We didn't have breakfast as we wanted to go out into Norwich for coffee. The staff were very friendly, helpful & kept our bags until our later train. There is a small bar within the main dining/breakfast area and food is served here during the day. For us the Stracey was perfect for our trip and we would definitely stay there again.”

“The room was comfortable, the en-suite shower room was decorated to a high standard. Everything was very clean and felt new. I was not disturbed by other guests. The breakfast was good, with freshly made filter coffee. The wifi was extremely fast. I went out for a run one morning and the staff gave me good advice on where to go.”
