I felt very fortunate to find this place online. (I was excited to see the castle ruins directly behind the hotel.)”

“Great hotel! I stayed for one night as a stop over on my way to Blencowe. Perfect location and I loved my room with a view of the Penrith castle. I felt welcome as soon as I stepped in and the owner was such a great help with my bags. I had both dinner and breakfast at the hotel and it was perfect. The bar is well stocked and has a good range of wines and cocktails. Would definitely stay here again.”
