“I have stayed in this hotel twice previously but it is now in much better ownership. The couple who bought the hotel less than a year ago have made huge advances in comfort, he is the chef and she is front of house. Each room is being modernised and the brasserie, where breakfast is served, is a delight. The hotel is in the middle of the town and on a Saturday the local market takes place just outside in the square.”

“I travel quite often for work and for me the most important thing is a clean room with a comfortable bed. This room was one of the best I have ever been. Very clean, the mattress and the pillow were surprisingly comfy and it was located at the main square of Rijssen with the train station as well as restaurants and cafes in short walking distance. Free coffee and tea were available at the room and the free parking spot was just opposite to the property. I would recommend Stadshotel to anyone who is travelling to this part of the Netherlands.”
