“The reception staff - without exception - were very helpful (eg booking dinner, accommodating luggage). We liked the lounge facility and the bar (live camera view of the harbour). The rooms were a little old-fashioned, but high ceilinged & pleasant to stay in. As a coffee addict, I liked the fact that I could get a decent (ie barista) espresso at breakfast time - by no means a given. Only Melbourne has also offered this, in my wide travelling experience. Also - the dinners were very good, with a Specials Menu changing each day. Important when you find - as we did - that it's impossible to book into dinner elsewhere.”
