“We booked the St. James because we were seeing a concert at the nearby Treasure Island Casino but didn't want to stay at the casino. We lucked out...not at the casino, but in finding this hotel. The St. James has preserved it's history as has the entire charming downtown of Red Wing, MN. The building, restaurants, bar, rooms will appeal to a traveller who loves authenticity but wants to enjoy modern comforts. The staff was professional, friendly, and accommodating, and there is free parking to boot. Excellent stay. We are thinking of reasons to return.”
