To a tree lover it was like a walk in paradise. We encountered nobody on our 3hr walk which seemed to flash past.”
“A short but very very sweet stay at this lovely property. It was like being a special guest in someone's rather lovely home, with history and style oozing from every pore. From the enormous and beautifully appointed rooms to the stunning views from every window, everything was perfect. The staff are super friendly and helpful, too. Breakfast - lovely! If you are going to stay here, make sure to contact the property and let them know if you're requiring dinner. We were driving up from Manchester airport - our flight was delayed and so we were going to arrive later than expected. When we warned Springkell about our late arrival, they made sure the chef stayed on so we could still have dinner. Amazing service. We shall definitely be back. Oh, and the bed was super-comfy, too - had the best night's sleep in ages!”
