What guests loved the most

“Great chance to stay in a heritage property at a reasonable price. The manager, staff and owner were fantastic.”

, Australia

“We saw on bookings.com the pictures of the cottage like building and liked the reviews. When we reached there it was as described and we liked it.our rooms were enormous and had excellent views from the windows. The history behind the building was interesting and our host was pleasant and helpful.”

, United Kingdom

“The big size of room was only thing which was good.”

, India

“Courteous staff scenic beauty all around fantastic heritage hotel.”

, India

“Good food and comfy beds and adequate blankets for cold days & nights. There were facilities to make tea/coffee in the room, and enough refills on demand. The owner and his wife are very gracious and the reception desk ever anxious to fulfill our requests. The garden is delightful.”

“It's not value for money. Too far from mall road. Inconvenienrce for elders to commute from the property to mall road. Rooms are shabby.Staffs were not friendly.”

, India

“Good old property. Nice view. Good sinrise view.”

“Hotel is located in quiet place not so far from the very center of Shimla. It is very pleasant to sit in the garden and to have view of the mountains. Old style furniture in dining room and lounge makes some kind of unique atmosphere. Można się zatrzymać )”

“Vijay, Florosa and all the staff were fantastic. So friendly and helpful. Good advice was given on sightseeing. The food was very good - tasty and plentiful. Whilst there, my computer needed urgent repair and they arranged for a repair guy to take it away - it was repaired and returned within 24 hrs. Whilst mine was away, Vijay let me use his laptop. Yes, the property is old and may need a lick of paint here and there but for me that was all part of the charm. The place is over 100 years old. It was very quiet and comfortable and about a 30 minute walk along the Mall took you to the main Shimla centre and the ridge, with all it's charm and attraction. When here, don't be afraid to ask anything - they will all do whatever they can to help. Had many great chats with Vijay and Florosa, putting the world to right and discussing colonial history, etc - a very knowledgeable and open minded couple. I'll miss them ! Thank you for a great stay.”

“I like small old fashioned hotels where you feel like a valued guest rather than a number. The owners made a point of greeting us and talking to us which we appreciated.”
