“We stayed at the "Cologne" room. Great, spacious, clean room with a nice terrace. Perfect location. We parked our car for free at P&R Brühl-Vochem, and took the U-bahn to Brühl-Mitte (only 2 stops, costs €1,90 per person, one-way). From Brühl-Mitte it is only a 5 minute walk to the hotel. To Phantasialand we took the shuttle bus (every half hour, €3,- per person, return), which leaves from the Brühl-Mitte station (so also 5 minute walk from the hotel). The shuttle takes about 10 minutes to Phantasialand.”
“Location was perfect, you have to park in the public car park, a short walk away, the door is a bit hard to spot, but the bar is easy enough. We checked in and out of 3 staff 2 where really helpful. The room in my young lady words, OMG awesome, ..... Really big and bright, all clean, with mod cons, loved that we had a balcony that we could enjoy the evening sun with a glass of wine. Lots of shops nearby, so if you forgot anything, no worries. We stayed as we where going to Phantasialand, perfect base point, So good where going again in September .”

“The staff were extremely ignorant to us in the restaurant, it seemed like the did not want us there eating as foreigners... They were so pleasant to Germans and as the only English speaking foreigners there, they made it perfectly obvious we were not welcome. Also nobody told us on Wednesday (check in) that Thursday was a bank holiday with all shops closed, therefore I had no milk for my sons bottle, I asked the staff and reluctantly he eventually gave me a glass of warm milk( not heated but obviously not kept in a fridge) and then charged me 3€ for it.. A disgrace.. The hotel itself is defiantly not a normal hotel, more like an average b&b but very clean.. If you stay there and speak English... Do NOT eat in the restaurant.. Then you'll be fine and not disappointed.”
