“i booked standard Double Room with Lake View for one night - first time in Azerbaijan i dont find good staff , really i so surprise about how this people work in 5 star hotel ( it was 5 star hotel ) , they see me carry my bags alone and they just look in door of hotel no one help , no any language , i speck English Russian Ukrainian but no one understand only local language , in check out they told me 10 times about check out in 12:00 and by the way i was only one in this hotel , noise all the night from area around , not clean restaurant I find insect in my dish , city so poor nothing to visit, i think once upon a time it was nice 5 star hotel but now not more than 3 star”

The staff were extremely helpful, sending a car to collect me from the middle of the countryside late at night and bring me back to the hotel, even calling me en-route to check that the pick-up had been successful.
