“We stayed one night with our three small children. We didn't realise parking and breakfast was not included. We paid extra for the parking but decided to go into town for breakfast. (There are some cool coffee shops in town on Yelp!) The hotel is nice, what you would expect. We do feel as though we were given a dud, or lemon of a room however, slightly below ground floor level and under a stairway so pretty much no natural light, the sliding door opened to a dark and dirty little space to no where. and the two beds were pretty small. But overall we liked the area and managed a comfortable stay.”

“All of the staff were friendly, including the front desk, the service operations team and the restaurant staff. The a la carte breakfast menu was excellent and provided very good value. The service was first rate. I was traveling with my teenage nephew, who is tall and thin but has an enormous appetite, and even he took his eyes off his smart phone for a moment each morning to say how much he liked his breakfast. Both my nephew and I also liked the configuration of our respective rooms. The beds were very comfortable and the shower stalls very modern and efficient. The location of the hotel is a big plus for me. On previous visits with my wife, we enjoyed being able to take a leisurely walk to the restaurants and stores on nearby Colorado Blvd. On this most recent visit, my nephew and I made good use of the nearby Del Mar metro station to take public transportation to Santa Monica and Venice Beach.”
