“The staff was great - very accommodating to our every request, and all spoke excellent English. We enjoyed that the hotel was set back from the busy street, so it was very quiet and very safe. The meals prepared in the small restaurant were all excellent, and great care was taken with presentation. We were quite pleasantly surprised! We took advantage of the massages that were offered (at incredibly reasonable prices). With no TV to distract us, we were free to read to our hearts content and just relax! So happy we found this charming property -- we'd definitely stay again should we ever return to Kathmandu!”
“This is my home away from home when I'm in nepal. The staff is amazing, the rooms are beautiful and clean and quiet- beds are spacious crisp white sheets and fluffy pillows I love this hotel and have stayed here multiple times- it's an oasis within Kathmandu with easy walkIng access to Boudnath Stupa. I've always felt personally cared for by the impeccable staff and service and always sad to leave.”
“This must be the best hotel in khatmandu. Boutique style, Tibetan decor, lovely, clean, neat and comfortable. Extraordinary staff. Felt very special staying there. Lovely garden and incredible food. Nothing could compare. The best food in town, eat there every day. Excellent value. Beautiful garden for relaxing and eating. Very quite for a buselling neighborhood. Upgraded to a suite and stayed an extra night, 5 total. Fantastic location 5 minutes walk to the famous, incredible Boudha stupa. Exceptional. I would not stay any place else and will come back and stay again. They are like family.”
“The staff was great and the hotel quiet yet close to the Stupa.”
“Wonderful garden for drinks and food to escape the madness of Kathmandu. The hotel is run by a lovely Tibetan family and they really care about their guests. Highly recommended.”
“There is a Buddhist feel to the environment in this very wonderful hotel which means calm, happy, contactful, respectful. We love this hotel and keep going back to it on our treks. Also, after sleeping in the cold, miserable places in the mountains (I'm not complaining, that's just one aspect of trekking) it feels like being in the Garden of Eden!!!”
“The location mear Boudnath Stupa, the spacious, clean roomsand the friendliness of staff.”
“Staff was really helpful. Food was pretty good. Quiet and private. But reaching the hotel was painful with the roads all dug up. It's great if you want to spend time in the vicinity of the boudhya and the Tibetan quarter. A bit remote from other tourist areas”
“Room was very spacious and tastefully decorated and the food was great”
“This hotel’s services and room exceeded the 5 star hotel we moved on to. Kathmandu is a crowded, dusty, noisy, amazing historic city and this hotel made it seem like a friendly, welcoming peaceful place.”
