The room service was impeccable, although when we first entered the room it was really smelly of fried food. Eventually, it seem it went away. Good TV service. “Everything in the Shadyside area (restaurants, shops, etc.) was totally awesome. I really liked the friendliness and professionalism of the people I encountered in the Shadyside Inn staff. The housekeeping staff were extremely courteous and asked if I needed anything and always left a note whenever they entered the premises, it was like having fairy godmothers perform their tasks. Having traveled professionally and stayed in many hotels across the country, I was greatly impressed! Hooray for my former hometown; they got it right! And the family members who visited me there were equally impressed, too. Simply great place to stay.”

In-house laundry facilities were a very big plus. Parking on site was convenient. Major museums are a vigorous walk away, and there is a small but pleasant shopping district nearby.”
