“Wonderful hotel with a view of the capitol just a few blocks down the street. Our suite was comfortable and quiet. This was our second stay at The Senate and we like it so much that we have decided that it is our first choice for all our future visits to the Topeka area. The staff are excellent.”

With a thermostat to set rather than a noisy window unit. The breakfast was very good. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.”

“Very unique building, with historical and architectural interest. The staff was extra friendly, and went out of their way to fulfill requests. Breakfast was good, with omelettes and bacon in addition to the standard continental fare, served in a very spacious dining room. The view of the Kansas capitol at night was amazing! We enjoyed the balcony, and the closet was so large it served as an extra dressing room. As a bonus, the hotel is within walking distance of most government office buildings.”
