“What a luxurious stay at Sea Shell!! We had the most beautiful view of the sea from the Santorin apartment, could even watch surfers from the window :-) The apartment is amazing, Greek style, and you do have a view of the sea even from the bathroom. We were absolutely spoilt, and had the most delicious breakfast. Could not believe how much food was placed on our table, but ate it all as it was incredibly good :-)”
“Breakfast was excellent -- multi-course, western and japanese-style options. The property is up on a small hill which overlooks the town. Shirahama Beach and the Torii gate are within a 3-4 minute walk. For western visitors, there's a pizza place and a ramen restaurant within 4-5 minutes walking, and a FamilyMart (which accepts credit cards) in about 8-10 minutes walking. We were enchanted by this part of Japan -- the Izu Peninsula has some striking geography and the coastline was a lot of fun to explore. The town of Shimoda is about 10 minutes away by taxi or bus (to the south) -- you can also get up to Kawazu in 20-25 minutes, which is another nice town to visit (especially during Cherry Blossom season). The staff was courteous and spoke enough English for us to be understood (and tolerated our broken Japanese). The room was spacious and immaculate, the views of the beach and hills were great, and that hot-spring bath is to-die-for.”
“Very fantastic hotel. It isn't large but very comfortable. Excellent staff, they are speaking English good. Location is good, but surrounded houses can make your picture not good. But it's not a problem if they have so good hotel. Good breakfast (included in room). We have a "Santorini" room, and I can say, that in reality it's more better than in pictures in site. But I suppose that it has a wood bath-onsen, but I am mistaken, but it has wonderful bath in Santorini style!!!”

“まず、スタッフのみなさんの対応が素晴らしい。最初に対応してくれた女性がとても感じがよく、後でお聞きしたところオーナーのお嬢さんとのこと。ご両親もとても素敵で、ご家族で経営されているとお聞きし納得でした。朝食も地元の食材でとてもおいしかったです。私は和食党で満足だったのですが、同行した夫は、洋食も選べればなおよかったと言っています。ご一考ください。次に行くときは夕食もここでいただこうと思っています。ネットで検索した時は若い人向けなんだろうと少し不安でしたが、そんなことはなく、とても気持ちよく滞在できました。（60代後半の夫婦です！）インテリアもさりげなくとてもおしゃれでした。”
