“Breakfast was more than good....... location right for what we needed........it said its a castle but actually it was a converted monastery. they must change the name of address to the actual little towns name with the post code....as satnat will send u 300kms further south the same towns name if u follow their main towns name then u try and add street name and it says it does not exist. apart from breakfast time only one member of staff available he was great and basically looked after very thing........... it appeared BandB was just a side line.... as the place was full of wedding guests and other functions which were happening that weekend......so no chance of a meal at the venue except breakfast. dont forget its just round the corner from phantasialand and I guess half the cost for an overnite stay.... for a stopover we would recommend this place.”

“Breakfast was good. Room comfortable. My daughter loved staying in a 'castle'. Very nice 30 min leisurely walk to Phantasialand through farmland, a quaint upmarket village, and a lake. Around 20 mins walk from train stop. We did not have a rental car but we did not mind it. Just a word of caution - no restaurants in the vicinity - at least we did not meet any.”
“The Schloss in a stunning location. On the edge of a village but surrounded by woodland and very peaceful. It was also less than a mile from Phantasialand which we were visiting. The owners are doing a great job on restoring these lovely buildings. We spent two nights there and would go back any time.”
