“The breakfasts were outstanding, and set us up for lunch as well. This made up for the room which was on the ground floor and on the street with little privacy from people on the street outside. The room was small, but hey, this is Gamla Stan, so to be expected. The bathroom was very well designed, I really liked it. The decor is old Swedish style, which is what you want in Gamla Stan. There was some noise on Thursday from a nearby Bar, but otherwise it was OK for a city hotel. This was my 4th visit to Sweden and 2nd to Stockholm. I remembered Gamla Stan as being an interesting area, from my first visit, and found my choice to stay there was justified. This hotel is very handy to the metro and ferries. A 72 hour pass did us for both, as well as for the trams we took in areas further away.”
