“Imposing, old fashioned hotel in a classic, upmarket beach resort. Large, comfortable room, if somewhat dated and in need of a refurb. Fantastic sea view and plenty of natural light in the room. Very quiet at night, although the bedroom doors slam so expect an early wake-up! Breakfast was good - loads of choice - and all of the staff were polite and friendly. Easy to park for free outside when we visited (end of October), but much trickier in summer I'd imagine. Short drive from the ferry port and only 5 minutes walk to a lovely beach. I doubt we'd spend a whole holiday here, but for a night or two it certainly did the job.”
