“Stunning location, vast hotel, a little dated in decor , excellent room, comfy bed, excellent linen, good shower, spotless everywhere! Good breakfast, quite a range on offer, though if you just wanted cereal and toast worked out expensive at £10. Very good evening meal, excellent value at £12, drinks reasonable price. Didn’t use the pool but it looked enticing and nice temperature. Staff very friendly and helpful with travel tips.”

“Located right on the beach and only a short walk to the town centre. Some nice eateries along the seafront too, although the hotel restaurant was pretty goo as well.”
“We visited in November when the hotel was quite quiet so this might not be representative of other times but everything was very good. The online booking site said we would have to pay £3/day for a local parking space but in fact we parked for free right outside the hotel. Presumably parking would be rather busier in summer but even so £3/day seems very reasonable for the location.”
“The bed was comfortable. The TV reception was excellent with a really clear picture. There was sufficient lighting in the room. Plenty of wardrobe and drawer space.”

“Dogs are allowed to stay at the hotel and the carpet in the bedroom was in need of a good vacuum. The bathroom was very clean though. The staff were rude when my husband asked about the lack of heating in our bedroom. Eventually after a couple of trips down to reception where he was greeted with 'he has already asked about this' (to another colleague) - we had some heating in our room on a chilly October evening! The pool was a good size but no changing rooms near it so you had to walk across a lounge area with a snooker table to get there. The pool was quite a cool temperature. The hotel is in a good location but our room view was of a back street.”
