“Gosh, it was not at all what we expected. Yes, it was clean, but not the luxury hotel we expected and were made to believe according to the photo's. We were excited for the fruit salad desert, seeing as there was nothing else that was available, we almost died laughing when we received a bowl with watermelon. Where's the FRUIT SALAD? Well, needless to say. It wasn't horrible. Would we stay there again? .... mmm.... probably not, but if you are looking for a basic hotel, with Ok-ish food, clean rooms. Then this will do!”
“The location is beautiful . It is just before the Machame Gate . Being at high altitude , It is cool and absolutely free from any pollution . The property surroundings are well maintained . The layout and architecture is good. Rooms are very spacious with balconies / verandahs with good views. If there are are no clouds , you get majestic views of Mount Kilimanjaro . The Lobby & restaurant are also spacious for the overall size of the property. Everything is nicely maintained. The bar is fairly loaded . Restaurant Menu is limited but they prepare it fresh and nice . Although there are no room heaters , the quality of bed , linen and comforters is superb . That guarantees good sleep. The staff is very efficient , smiling and they know hospitality . Full Marks to the Staff .”
