“The breakfast was very nice. The staff were kind and helpful.”
“Friendly staff, lovely building and courtyard, well-presented and spotlessly clean room. Great breakfast and meals. A warm and welcoming boutique hotel with a gorgeous resident cat. Superb value for money as it is a little distance from centre of Selcuk (about ten mins walk) - would recommend planning walk from station in advance. If you like walking, Ephesus easily reached on foot, and there is plenty to see in Selcuk itself - I stayed for three days and filled my time with the ruins and museum (highly recommend getting a bus to Sirince for an afternoon in the hills). A perfect base for Ephesus, away from the crowds.”
“This is a family run business, and it is fantastic, the service, location to the historical sites, etc. The father did all the design himself, and it is fantastic! The mom does the cooking, and it was fabulous. The dad even picks out the wine, and he paired it beautifully with our meals. We had a wonderful stay (my father and I), and I look forward to returning with my wife. This was my second trip here, and the quality and value remain consistent.”
“Tiny nice hotel but you get everything you need. Love everything there.”
“Very clean and comfortable rooms excellent service from the staff they arranged for airport pick up and excursion to the excavated site at Ephesus with an excellent guide who charged very little for his services. I recommend this hotel, I hope to come back some day to Ephesus and will stay in the St. John hotel!”
“We loved our pretty room next to the lovely garden pool”
“the host is very nice, delicious food, i spent a really really good night here”
“Very friendly staff and clean rooms overall a nice hotel”
“This hotel is located right below St. John Castle in a Turkish area. The staff are excellent, and the facilities off outstanding value for the money. Breakfast, included, was very good. And it was a bonus to sit on the small deck by the pool after a busy day at Ephesus. The longe/terrace was also a pleasant place to be. Rooms have small decks. As in most of the Turkish hotels where we stayed, the internet is spotty. But I would recommend this Hotel, highly.”
“The immediate street of the hotel was not great, but the surrounding are was. The view of St. John's Basilica from the rooftop restaurant was fantastic! Staff was great. I will definitely be coming back for another stay.”
