“We were quite happy with our choice at the Rye Lodge Hotel. We stayed in the Attic Suite, which is a somewhat more modern addition to the historic hotel. It was great having a suite, with its extra space and seating. The room was nicely decorated, and the full size bed, while a bit small, fit well in the room. Everything was clean, in good repair, and tidy. Parking was conveniently onsite, although it did fill up one night and we had to park elsewhere. And all of the charm of Rye is within very easy walking distance (just around the corner, really) which was best of all.”

Plenty of alternative eating establishments in the immediate vicinity which the hotel staff will be pleased to direct you to. All in all a nice relaxing place for a short break - or as a base for a longer stay in the area.”

The rooms were beautiful, very comfortable but pared down with a nod to the minimalist. I had an attic room with a lovely view out to the sea. The location is perfect, within 5 minutes walking distance of all of the old town and all restaurants,bars,shops etc. I would definitely go back there”
